- 2+ years of experience in IT in a similar role
Desk side and remote support.
Hands on experience using the Azure administration portal and Microsoft 365 portal.
Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP and HTTP
Proficiency with a scripting language like PowerShell or Python
A strong work ethic
Passion for learning new technologies and imagining new approaches
Responsibilities:
- We are looking to recruit an Azure - Junior DevOps Engineer with a can-do attitude.
You will be involved in the support of production and development environments as well as in providing support to the business. You will work directly with our Head of DevOps and Infrastructure and will have a direct impact on the maintenance, operation, and evolution of our infrastructure and services.
For this role, you will need a combination of sysadmin knowledge and knowledge of software development.
These are some of the things you will be doing:
- Provide technical support of all employees (hybrid model)
- Management of Azure, Microsoft 365 and other services used by Tradeteq
- Supporting Linux, macOS and Windows 10 for end users
- Production support, monitoring and root cause analysis
- Setting security baselines, system hardening and security monitoring
- Configuration management and CI / CD automation using a range of tools.
- Translating project requirements to technical specifications
