Responsibilities:
- The initial focus of this role is the development and improvement of our TMS product. This manages and controls traffic in many cities in the UK and abroad.
The web-based user interface is written in C# and uses a SQL Server database. There is also an opportunity to work on the core software, which is mainly written in Pascal. TMS runs on clustered servers in our data centre. Experience of some or all of the above technologies would be desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
You should also be able to perform code reviews and provide helpful feedback to other team members. Experience with TCP, UDP, SNMP, HTTP and other standard protocols for data exchange would be helpful. Previous experience with traffic or other real-time systems is desirable but not essential.
