Job Description
Tele-Town Hall is expanding our engineering team. We are looking for a software engineer to help support and develop new features for the real-time system which handles text messaging and voice traffic for our clients’ events.
Applicants must be located in the USA and legally authorized for work in the USA. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development and deployment of new messaging and voice features.
- Support of existing real-time messaging and voice systems.
- Participate in evaluation of problems, defining requirements, designing solutions & implementation.
- Continue our cloud migration strategy by migrating software components to cloud-native services.
- Provide engineering support to both internal and external users of the services.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Desired Experience
- Familiarity with C++, PHP or node.js is a plus.
- Knowledge of text messaging or VoIP (SIP/SDP) technologies is a big plus.
- Track record of contribution throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of code management control systems like GIT, Jira or similar.
- Experience in communicating with end users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identifying tasks, providing estimates and meeting production deadlines.
